When we decided to go to Tirana we wanted an affordable hotel in the middle of the Blloku quarter, the place to be with friends when you like pubs and a good place to eat. Boy did we get much more!
Metro Hotel looks very new and modern, but due to its limited size it felt very cosy. We liked to sit in the lounge before going out, have a few drinks and talk.
Behind the bar is a small breakfast area with plenty of choice and decent cup of coffee.
Of course a hotel is as good as its rooms are, and they were good. Comfy beds, excellent shower and cool ambient lighting.
